Driver stopped for speeding on Hwy. 416, arrested for impaired driving

An Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a driver for speeding southbound on Highway 416 who was later arrested and charged for impaired driving.

The OPP said on X the incident took place early on Sunday, Aug. 20.

The driver was arrested after a roadside breath test and was also charged for having cannabis readily available.
