Ottawa 67’s players gear up for new season

Hockey fans rejoice.

A new OHL season is just around the corner.

Ottawa 67’s players reported to training camp on Tuesday, Aug. 29 with on ice sessions beginning at TD Place Arena on Wednesday, Aug. 30 with two days of intrasquad games, and three versus three tournament play.

Ottawa’s four-game preseason schedule kicks off on Sunday, Sept. t with a visit to the Kingston Frontenacs, followed by a trip to North Bay to face the Battalion, on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

The 67’s will host North Bay on Saturday, Sept. 9 for a free preseason game, with a full afternoon of fun for fans. The Break the Ice Activity Zone will be open outside, there’s a meet and greet with Ottawa Redblacks players, a chance to try out football activities, as well as an inflatable bouncy castle, obstacle course, and more. A public skate on the Arena at TD Place ice will follow the game.

 

The 67’s will wrap up their exhibition schedule vs Kingston at the Cornwall Civic Complex on Saturday, Sept. 23, before facing the Peterborough Petes in their home opener Friday, Sept. 29.
