Rideau Hall opens doors to public over Labour Day weekend

The Labour Day long weekend will be your last chance of this summer to tour Rideau Hall.

The governor general’s official residence will open its doors, including to areas not usually accessible to the public, Saturday, Sept 2 through Monday, Sept. 4 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

People will have the chance to explore the state rooms and the gardens on your own, and there will be tour guides available to answer your questions about Rideau Hall and the role of Canada’s governor general.

The doors to the private gardens and greenhouses are ready to burst open!
