Police searching for man who held up Kanata store

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for the public’s help to find a man who held up a store in Kanata and stole cash and cigarettes.

The man entered the store around 3:17 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6, and made threats toward the clerk. Police say the man made off on foot with cash and cigarettes.

Police describe their suspect as:

  • White
  • Male
  • With a heavy build
  • 40-50-years-old

 

The man was last seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a blue surgical mask.
