Police looking for suspects involved in daytime break-ins

Ottawa police officers are looking to identify three people involved in multiple residential break-ins in Barrhaven and the south end of the city.

In a release, the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) said four men would park a black truck in the driveway of the homes, three of them would force their way in when no one answered, while the fourth stayed in the car.

Police said all of the break-ins took place during the day between Sunday, Sept. 24 and Wednesday, Sept. 27.

The truck is described as a Dodge Ram 1500 with a chrome rear bumper, front grill and wheels. Its  plate number is BC22409

The OPS said all suspects are of average height and weight and they were all wearing masks and gloves at the time of the incidents.

Anyone with information is being asked to call the OPS or Crime Stoppers.
