Lanark OPP seeking assistance with suspicious death investigation in Pakenham

Provincial police are putting a call out for help as the investigation into a suspicious death in Pakenham continues.

The body of Rose Kerwin, 50, was discovered in a river near Pakenham on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023. Rose had recently been reported missing from Carleton Place, along with her vehicle, a blue 2013 Mazda GX four-door sedan with the Ontario licence plate CSXW383.

The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is now hoping to speak with anyone who may have information, including those wit potentially relevant doorbell, dashcam or other video recordings from the days leading up to Rose’s disappearance.

Also, if you’d had recent contact with Rose, police would like to speak with you.
