Police locate body of missing Central Frontenac man

The body of a missing person in Central Frontenac Township has been located.

The investigation into the whereabouts of Kevin Camilleri began on Thursday, Nov. 16 when he was reported missing.

Camilleri, who is from Central Frontenac, was last seen in the Sharbot Lake area one week earlier on Thursday, Nov. 9.

This past weekend, the Frontenac detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) announced that a person had been charged in connection with the case.

Sebastian Johnston, 29, of Central Frontenac Township, has been arrested and charged with first degree murder.

Johnston remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Kingston on Thursday, Dec. 7.
