Police seize methamphetamine, cocaine, weapons and stolen vehicles during bust in Mississippi Mills

Three people are facing a slew of charges following a drug bust at a home on Turners Road in Mississippi Mills.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), along with members of the Lanark County OPP, OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, executed a search warrant on Thursday, Feb. 1.

Officers seized the following items:

Krystal Dinelle, 37, of Merrickville-Wolford Township, Wilfred Moore, 35 of Mississippi Mills, and Matthew Verhey, 33 of Carleton Place, face the following charges:

Dinelle and Moore are also charged with five counts each of possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.

Dinelle and Moore were remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear in court in Perth next week, while Verhey remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing on today.

The investigation is continuing.
