Firefighters save trapped driver after 2 vehicle crash in Orleans

Ottawa firefighters cut a trapped driver out of their car in Orleans on Wednesday.

Ottawa Fire Service (OFS) said they were called by police at around 2:52 p.m. about a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Renaud and Navan Roads. Police told them there was at least one trapped occupant.

Fire crews arrived and found that one of the vehicles was on its side and the driver was trapped inside. Firefighters quickly extracted the occupant from the vehicle.

It is unknown if there are any injuries at this time or if police have laid any charges yet.
