Ottawa expecting milder, wetter days ahead

Mild weather and even rain is forecasted for the nation’s capital over the next few days.

Environment Canada says Wednesday afternoon will be cloudy with an expected high of 4 C. The average high this time of year is -3.2 C.

Temperatures drop a bit overnight with either rain showers or flurries set to hit the city with a low of 0 C.

The trend continues Thursday as the weather service forecasts more rain or flurries throughout the day and evening.

Thursday’s high is 7 C.

Friday takes a sharp turn during the evening. The morning and afternoon is expected to be cloudy with more flurries or rain showers and a high of 5 C.

It then drops to a low of -19 C overnight.
