Fire crews knock down Ottawa east end garage fire

The Ottawa Fire Service was called to a fire on Navan Road in the area of Tenth Line and Canary by the home owner Saturday morning.

Fire crews arrived on scene and put out a fire that was isolated to the garage before it could spread.

Crews are still on scene doing overhaul operations.

OFS says the fire was declared ‘under control’ at 8:50 a.m. and an Ottawa Fire Investigator was been dispatched to the scene to determine the origin and cause.
