Two days later police say Juste Jimbere, 19, of Ottawa has been charged with:
- Assault x2
- Forcible Confinement x2
The accused is set to appear in court Aug. 30.
In light of this incident, and with school around the corner for many, police are reminding parents to have a conversation with their children about safety.
“Parents should teach kids what to do when approached by a stranger,” a press release said. “Where possible, avoid walking alone.”
