Lowertown restaurant goes up in flames

There are no reports of injuries after a restaurant fire in Ottawa’s Lowertown neighbourhood.

Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to Airlang Korean Restaurant shortly after 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, after several 9-1-1 calls reporting fire.

The restaurant is located on Nelson Street, between York Street and Rideau Street.

Crews arrived to find the building totally engulfed in flames and a working fire was declared in order to dispatch more resources to the scene.
