On Jan. 7, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and RCMP stopped the vehicle in the City of Cornwall travelling toward the border. Officers found eight people in the trunk and charged the driver and passenger under the Criminal Code.
Further investigation revealed two other suspect vehicles and two more people were charged.
