Ottawa Police seek help identifying vehicle following Bank Street shooting

The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle believed to be involved in a shooting that occurred March 5 on Bank Street.

At approximately 10:15 p.m. officers responded to reports of shots fired inside a residential building near Billings Bridge. Officers reported finding shell casings. No injuries were reported to officers on scene.

Investigators are asking anyone that may have dashcam video travelling southbound on Bank Street between 9:55 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. to contact police.

Officers are looking to identify a disabled vehicle parked under the OC Transpo Transitway south of Riverside Drive during that time.
