Murder charge laid following death on Longfields Drive

One man has been arrested and remains in police custody following a death Friday evening.

The Ottawa Police Service and emergency responders were called to the Longfields Drive area around 8:10 p.m. They found Kole Warren Watanabe, 27, with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after.

The OPS Homicide Unit is investigating and charged Munyaradzi Gonouya with second-degree murder in relation to the incident.
