OPS search for missing man last seen in east Ottawa

Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man last seen around 8 p.m. Saturday.

Waleed Amareen, 49, was last seen in the area of Prince Albert Street and was wearing a black rain jacket, black tuque and grey slip-on shoes. He is described as bald, approximately 5’11” tall, 180 lbs and a medium build.

Anyone with information about Amareen’s current whereabouts is asked to contact Ottawa Police at 613-236-1222. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers.
