Victim loses $24,000 after thieves steal and use credit card

Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help to identify several people in a credit card crime that was committed in November last year.

According to officials, on Nov. 22, a person’s credit card was stolen and then used at two retail stores in the city. The transactions totalled about $24,000 by the end. Police are trying to identify the suspects they believe are connected to the theft.

Suspect 1: Is described as a man, wearing a white baseball cap, black coat, black pants and black sneakers.

Suspect 2: Wore a black tuque, black hoodie and dark beige coat. He is also a man.

Suspect 3: The man is wearing a red hoodie, black coat, black pants and white and black sneakers.

Suspect 4: Is described as man, wearing a black tuque, black long-sleeved jacket, light coloured pants and white sneakers.
