19-year-old charged with child porn possession

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) have arrested and charged a 19-year-old male with child pornography offences.

On Thursday, members of the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit executed a warrant at a home in Osgoode.

Following the search, police arrested a 19-year-old man for the possession of and accessing child pornography.

OPS is concerned there are more victims they have yet to identify.

They have released a number of online usernames and email addresses that were used by the accused. A list of those can be found on the Ottawa police website here.

Another man charged with porn-related offences in Ottawa

Last week, police laid charges in an internet child exploitation investigation where one person was charged and arrested.

In that case, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers executed a search warrant at a home in Ottawa and took a quantity of electronic devices.

A 38-year-old man was arrested and charged with making child pornography and other sex-related offences.
