SUV and van collide sending 2 to hospital with serious injuries

Two people are in hospital with what authorities are calling “serious” injuries following a two-vehicle collision Friday.
Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP and other first responders were called to the scene of Foymount Road and Sebastopol Drive south of Killaloe around noon.
A collision between an SUV and a van had occurred at the intersection.
Firefighters extricated a 34-year-old from the van who was then transported to a regional trauma centre by Air Ornge.
The driver of the SUV, a 53-year-old woman, was also injured and transported to hospital by paramedics.
The road remained closed until approximately 6 p.m. while police investigated on scene.
