Police looking for suspect in Elgin Street restaurant break-in

Officers are asking people for help identifying a person they believe was involved in a restaurant break-in.
In a press release, police said the incident happened Feb. 19 in the early hours. The restaurant is located in the 300 block of Elgin Street, and officials said the suspect stole personal items from the kitchen and staff room before leaving.
The man police are looking for is described as white, about 25 to 35 years old. At the time of the theft, he was wearing a black baseball cap, dark jacket, blue jeans and dark shoes. He was also wearing a winter coat, which police said was taken from the staff room.
People are being asked to contact the Ottawa police if they have any information in connection to the case.
