Orleans man accused of murdering mother in court Wednesday

OTTAWA – An Orleans man charged in the murder of his mother will be in court Wednesday at the Elgin Street courthouse.
Christopher Gobin, 18, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Luce Lavertu, who was found dead with her throat slashed in her Orleans home on April 22.
The crown still hasn’t given the defence the full disclosure of the facts in the case.
