Two dead after boat crash near Petawawa

PETAWAWA – Upper Ottawa Valley OPP say two people were killed Sunday night when a boat crashed in to rocks near Dow Island in Petawawa.
Emergency crews responded to the call at 10:16 p.m. on the Ottawa River.
Zachary Lapointe, 20, of Pembroke, and Tiffany Burgess, 25, of Petawawa were pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say their investigation continues.
