Third man charged in Kemptville body case; police probing second death

BROCKVILLE, Ont. – A third man arrested in connection a body found near Kemptville has made a court appearance in Brockville.

Kyle Robert Clermont, 20 of Ottawa, has been charged with committing an indignity to a dead body and conspiracy to commit and indictable offence, and has been remanded into custody.

On October 14, the body of Deepak Beaudoin-Reichmann, 27, was found in a bag east of Bishop’s Mills. He is believed to have died from a drug overdose.

Two other Ottawa men, Dave Lojk, 26, and Matthew Benoit, 30, are also charged in the case.

Meantime, police tell the Citizen they are probing the death of another man, believed to have died of a drug overdose in an Ottawa apartment on October 15.

Nicholas Gagnon, 29, and Beaudoin-Reichmann are believed to have run in the same circles, and police are now investigating pills the two are both believed to have taken prior to their deaths.
