Shooting under investigation on Meadowlands Drive near Prince of Wales

The Ottawa Police Service is looking for information regarding a shooting on Meadowlands Drive, in the Carleton Heights-Rideauview area.

Officers responded to the incident near Prince of Wales Drive, around 8 p.m., Saturday.

Evidence was found at the scene, which confirmed a firearm had been discharged.

No injuries were reported following the shooting.

The Guns and Gangs Unit continues to investigate the incident and is looking to speak with anyone that may have seen suspicious activity in the area of the shooting over the weekend.
