Ottawa woman, not heard from in months, found by police

UPDATE: The Ottawa Police Service would like to thank the public for their help in locating Jennifer Giroux-Matte. She has been located safe and sound.

The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public's help in finding a 24-year-old woman who has not been heard from since August 2018.
The family of Jennifer Giroux-Matte is greatly concerned for her safety, as they have not spoken with her for nearly seven months.
Police were just recently made aware that Giroux-Matte has been missing.
She is described as:
- White
- 5' 4'' (163 cm)
- Medium build
- Brown, shoulder-length hair
Giroux-Matte is known to spend time in downtown Ottawa.
Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call Ottawa Police at 613-236-1222.
