Woman facing second degree murder charge in Cummings Avenue homicide

A 41-year-old woman is being accused of killing Jason Saunders in a Cummings Avenue apartment.

The Ottawa Police Service found the 45-year-old man dead on Monday and deemed the incident the city's second homicide of 2020.

Officers arrested Laura Dabene on Tuesday night.

She was charged with one count of second degree murder and was set to appear in court, Wednesday.
