Three men arrested in thefts of two vehicles in west end

Three people have been arrested following an Ottawa Police investigation into recently stolen cars in the city’s west end.
OPS say officers stopped a stolen Lexus Saturday at about 3 a.m. as it was travelling on Fallowfield Road near Old Richmond Road.
The driver was arrested without incident.
A second involved vehicle was located nearby. Officers had stopped that vehicle and arrested two occupants and seized suspected tools used in the thefts.
As a result, three people were arrested: Remo Desjardins-Robineault, 23, Ismael Mauricin, 19 and Sebastien Lanoir, 30, all of Montreal.
They were charged with:
- conspiracy to commit indictable offence
- possessing break in instruments
- possessing auto master key
- two count of mischief to property
- possessing a device to obtain unauthorized use of computer system or commit mischief
- theft of motor vehicles
The accused were released from custody and will appear in court on November 12 (Maurin and Laanoir) and November 19 (Desjardins-Robineault)
