Ottawa man dead after motorcycle crash in Tay Valley

A 30-year-old Ottawa man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Lanark County.

Provincial police say the crash happened on Bennett Lake Road in Tay Valley Township, just before 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16.

Officers say the lone motorcycle rider was rushed to hospital, where he passed away from his injuries.

The victim has been identified as Fouad Haddad.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
