Ottawa police asking public for information after shooting injures one man

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating a shooting after an injured man showed up at a local hospital.

Officers were called to the Civic Campus of The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) around 4 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13 regarding a man with a gunshot wound.

The victim, a 20-year-old man, had suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The OPS Guns and Gangs Unit has taken over the investigation and is asking anyone with information to contact them at 613-236-1222, extension 5050.
