Two teens charged in Sandy Hill arson, estimated damages in the millions of dollars

The Ottawa Police Arson Unit has charged two people responsible for a fire that occurred on Osgoode Street on Feb. 1.

Three firefighters who battled the blaze fell through the floor while attempting to put out the fire. They all escaped without any injuries.

Ottawa police say first responders were called to Osgoode Street at around 5:30 a.m. that morning because of several fires at units along the street. Multiple people were displaced as a result and nobody was injured.

The damage is estimated to be in the millions of dollars.
