Police looking for suspect in Orleans store property damage investigation

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person suspected of mischief to a store on Tenth Line Road, north of Innes Road in Orleans.

The incident took place on Aug. 31 in the early morning hours around 7:30 a.m.

Police say the suspect went into the store to buy something and was told the product was not in stock. He became angry and started “breaking items in the store,” a police release reads.

After leaving the store, he hopped on a bus heading eastbound towards the Trim Road and Millenium Park area.

Police describe the suspect as follows:

  • Black Male
  • 25-35 years old
  • 5’7″ to 5’9″ in height
  • Thin build
  • Short facial hair
  • Wearing a black t-shirt and red bucket hat at the time of the incident
