29-year-old dies from injuries after being struck near Fallowfield Station

Officers are continuing to investigate what happened that led to the death of a woman near a busy park and ride in Barrhaven.

Ottawa police said the 29-year-old who was involved in a crash with a vehicle died in hospital from her injuries.

Emergency responders were called to the intersection of Fallowfield Road and Via Park Place, right outside the OC Transpo Fallowfield Station on May 11 around 7:19 p.m.

When they arrived, they found the woman suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Police are pleading for witnesses to come forward with dashcam footage of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.
