Man dies during martial arts class

A 27-year-old man is dead after collapsing during a martial arts class Thursday night in the Byward Market.

Paramedics responded to the call at about 7:30 p.m. at the community centre on Guigues Avenue and found the man with a faint heartbeat. He was rushed to Montfort Hospital where he was declared dead.

Ottawa police said he died from natural causes. His name has not been released.
