DALLAS, Tex. – It’s snowing Friday in Dallas, the host city for this year’s Super Bowl.
That is the icing on the cake for a city already coping with a week’s worth of near-record cold temperatures and an ice storm.
Sleet and snow collapsed tents in the Cotton Bowl Stadium, so three nights of pre-game concerts had to be moved indoors.
Also, airlines in the United States are scrambling to rearrange their schedules to accommodate Super Bowl fans stranded by this week’s storms.
Things are looking up weather wise for the weekend. It’s supposed to be mostly sunny with highs near 10C on Saturday and Sunday.
