Police sweep up street crime in Byward Market

Ottawa Police are in the process of arresting 93 people in the Byward Market who will be charged with 493 criminal charges.

The arrests come after the 5 month covert operation called “Project Infusion” that targeted street-level drug trafficking in the Byward Market and Rideau Corridor between Dalhousie and Sussex.

More details will be released by Police later Wednesday.
