Eric Vongviset laid to rest

The funeral for Ottawa’s 10th murder victim of the year was held Satruday afternoon.
34-year-old Eric Vongviset, was killed in the quiet neighbourhood of Chapman Mills in Barrhaven last weekend.
Vongviset, who had been convicted of several crimes in the past, had seemingly turned his life around, and was living in the area with his partner and daughter.
On Friday, family and friends paid their respects at the Capital Memorial Chapel on Prince of Wales Drive.
