Ginger Beef recalled over Listeria concerns

A Calgary-based company that makes pre-cooked Asian foods is grappling with possible contamination from Listeria.
Ginger Beef Corporation says it’s working with retailers in the five provinces from BC to Ontario to pull affected products from shelves.
The company says it’s issuing the warning as a precaution after detecting Listeria during a routine monthly inspection.
Listeria is a common type of bacteria that can have negative health consequences in some circumstances.
