Cartoon Network coming to Canada sometime later this year

TORONTO – The Cartoon Network is coming to Canada later this year.
Teletoon Canada Inc., has partnered with Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., to launch the digital channel sometime in 2012, although no firm date is being released.
Cartoon Network programming will air between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by Adult Swim shows, which target the 18- to 34-year-old demographic.
Cartoon Network celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, while Teletoon will mark 15 years on the air in 2012.
