McDonald’s launches hiring blitz

McDonald’s has been named as one of the top 10 employers in Canada and Wednesday may be your chance to join the workforce.

McDonald’s is holding its second annual national hiring day. The burger giant is looking to fill 4,500 jobs across Canada.

Job applicants are being welcomed Wednesday at more than 1,400 McDonald’s outlets across the country. Last year, the company hired nearly 5,000 on its inaugural job blitz.

Company president John Betts said its could be a part time job or start of a career. He’s worked his way up from part time to president of over 41 years.

Applicants can submit their application on the McDonald’s website.
