Three arrested and charged after gun found in Vanier area

An investigation by Ottawa Police Bikes and Beats officers has ended in gun-related charges for three people.
The officers stopped a vehicle near a known problem address in the Vanier area on Thursday, and noticed evidence of drug use contrary to the Cannabis Control Act.
A handgun was also found in the vehicle.
All three of the vehicle's occupants, two men and one woman, were arrested and have been charged by the Guns and Gangs Section.
Police have not released the names of the accused.
