About Mark

Mark’s career in broadcasting began at the age of 14 as a weekend announcer at CIGO radio in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. At that time, he was one of the youngest radio personalities in North America covering topics ranging from federal elections and natural disasters to major sporting events. From there, his career has taken him across the country behind the microphone and in front of the camera.  Some personal career highlights for Mark include co-hosting the first season of CBC’s Hockeyville, working as a professional actor for film and television, and organizing and playing celebrity/NHL hockey games for charity. Of all these however, one of his proudest accomplishments to date is becoming a dad to two amazing boys.
