17-year-old charged with stunt driving after exceeding Hwy 417 speed limit

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) clocked the driver going 180 km/h.

A 17-year-old is facing a stunt driving charge for exceeding the speed limit on Highway 417.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) said in a tweet, earlier this week, that the teenager was clocked going a 180 km/h, Thursday night. The officer had additional units to assist in boxing in the driver and eventually stopping the vehicle.

The 17-year-old was arrested and charged with stunt driving.
