Firefighters battle Little Italy blaze

Ottawa firefighters were called to a home in Little Italy Thursday night for a small basement fire.
Fire crews were dispatched after receiving a call that reported grey smoke coming from a basement at 74 Anderson St.
Upon arrival, a small fire was found in the basement on a chair.
The flames were under control at 10:02 p.m., Thursday.
Officials report the flames only spread to contents inside the home and not the structure itself.
No injuries were reported.
A fire investigator is not required to be dispatched for this incident.
