Kingston resident facing charges after alleged ‘disturbing incident’ involving young child

A 25-year-old resident of Kingston is facing charges after allegedly asking a young child to perform specific acts in exchange for monetary compensation in a school yard. 

The incident in question took place on Feb. 8, at roughly 1:20 p.m., at a school yard in downtown Kingston. 

On Feb. 15 at approximately 1:30 p.m. police arrested the accused at an address in midtown Kingston, following an extensive investigation by the Kingston Police Criminal Investigations Division.

The 25-year-old local accused was charged with two counts of criminal harassment and three counts of breaching their 161 order.
