No injuries reported following early morning barn fire near Rideau Lakes Township area

No one was injured after a barn was engulfed in flames in the early morning hours of Monday, Dec. 19. 

The Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Rideau Lakes Fire Department responded to the fire, near Highway 15 on Muchmore Road, near Morton in the Rideau Lakes Township.

OPP said in a tweet that no injuries were reported and the fire was contained.

Residents were asked to avoid the area.
