No one was injured after a fire damaged a townhouse in the city's west end.
Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) were called to the home, Friday afternoon, when a neighbour called 911 reporting brown smoke coming from the home's front door.
When the first crew arrived, they encountered heavy smoke and the fire was extinguished. Everyone and their pets were able to escape quickly. The fire was under control just after 2:30 p.m.
There's no word on the estimated damages from the fire.
An Ottawa Fire Investigator was called to the scene to determine the cause.
