By Dani-Elle Dubé

The COVID-19 outbreak at a Pembroke dental office is now over.

According to an announcement by the Renfrew County and District Health Unit, the outbreak is over effective Wednesday, December 30.

No additional positive tests among staff or close contacts at the office were received.

“It has been two weeks since an individual with COVID-19 was in the facility,” Dr. Robert Cushman, acting medical officer of health at RCDHU, said.

Cushman attributes prompt contact tracing and testing and stick compliance with public health directives for successfully containing the outbreak.
