Redblacks reveal team award winners

The Ottawa Redblacks revealed the team's award winners for the 2022 Canadian Football League (CFL) season as voted by head coaches and members of the media. 

  • Defensive Lineman Lorenzo Mauldin IV is the team’s nominee for Most Outstanding Player, as well as unanimous nominee for Most Outstanding Defensive Player. 
  • Receiver Nate Behar is the nominee for Most Outstanding Canadian
  • Offensive lineman Jacob Ruby is the unanimous nominee for Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman
  • Long snapper Louis-Phillippe Bourassa was nominated for the John Agro Special Teams award as the league's Most Outstanding Special Teams Player
  • Running back Devonte Williams is the nominee for Most Outstanding Rookie

These Redblacks players will compete for East Division honours this month and later the league-wide awards, which will be announced during the 109th Grey Cup Week.

The Redblacks will play the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at TD Place on Saturday, Oct. 29 in their final game of the 2022 season.
