Spring weather in sight for Ottawa

By Alex Black

It's been a doozy of a winter in the nation's capital, but it looks like we are finally in for some hard-earned spring weather.

While the forecast calls for more winter weather — off-and-on — this week, the weekend looks to be dry and mild.

Harold Hosein is forecasting some flurries Tuesday, changing to showers in the afternoon with more flurries possible overnight.

Hosein is forecasting a mix of sun and cloud for Wednesday with a chance of flurries overnight into Thursday.

Thursday will be wet with a mix of showers and flurries with more showers forecast for Friday.

Now, the good news.

Hosein is calling for a dry weekend with highs between 8 and 10 degrees.

Sunday looks especially nice, with sunny skies and a high around 10 degrees.
